The BisonBison Student Film Festival is an annual two-day event made to showcase films in all genres by young emerging filmmakers featuring workshops from industry professionals and awards.

The festival is open to filmmakers enrolled in accredited colleges, universities and trade schools in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Texas. BBFF is an inclusive event which values diversity. Films are accepted regardless of age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective.

The 2027 festival will be held at the historic Burford Theatre in Arkansas City, Kansas on Friday April 3rd and Saturday April 4th, 2027. Film viewings will be held Friday and Saturday, with free workshops on Saturday during the day. Awards will be presented Saturday evening following the screening.
